North London in Frame

View of North London from the top of St Mary's Tower.

Normally I like to keep my blog posts fairly sparse, focusing on the written content rather than a lot of fluff. However, sometimes the best way to tell the story of a place you've traveled to is through photos.

For the past month, I've been visiting with my wife and her family in North London, which has its own distinct feel compared to the madness of central London, and I highly doubt that the majority of tourists venture this far unless they have an Airbnb in the area.

The majority of these photos were taken in the boroughs of Haringey and Islington and within the towns of Hornsey, Wood Green, Muswell Hill, Highgate, and Archway. North London is full of its own unique history, some of which I've summarized in the captions, and is worth visiting in its own right for its several green spaces, delicious Turkish food, and rich folklore. ◉
